This summer I found a new beach that is as good as any beach abroad. Varamon in Motala is Europe’s largest lake beach. The beach is a half Swedish mile long. I visited Varamon a day when it was 30 degrees and the lake lay glittering in the afternoon sun and the sand was soft.

Who could imagine a beach like that is possible to find in Motala and it is also the place were world championship in windsurfing take place next year.
