The Azores is an archipelago, a cluster of islands. It is a place, so beautiful that you will never will forget it. Here you can see dramatic coastlines formed by vertical seacliffs. On the top you can see huge waves crashing against the rock below.

The tropical climate makes it possible to see animals that you never would see at home in Sweden. Exotic lizards often cross the road you walk on. The Azores is a place that I only thought existed in movies and fairytales. People are friendly, but do not care much about traffic rules. You better be careful when taking a walk. You never know what you will meet.

Tourism has not jet destroyed the island, so there are still many exciting places to visit.
