Since 1966 the wolf has been a protected animal. The first days of the new decennium was very cold, both the weather and peoples sympathy for a wild animal that is under threat of extermination.
The year 2010 started tragically in Sweden when the government decided to allowed a lot untrained hunters to shot healthy wolves. Hunters shot the wolf puppies parents. The puppies will not survive the cold winter.
